It was a disappointing Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup opener at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza for us, after our Audi R8 LMS was hit from behind during the first lap of qualifying and we were forced to withdraw from the race.
It’s a big shame, as W Racing Team had worked really hard in the build up to this weekend to give us the best possible car. However my team-mates Stephane Richelmi and Nathanael Berthon and I are positive we can come back stronger in the next round at Silverstone (May 13-14).

La première manche des Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup qui se déroulait le week-end dernier sur le circuit Autodromo Nazionale Monza fut décevante. Notre Audi R8 LMS s’est faite percutée par l’arrière lors du premier tour des qualifications et nous avons dû déclarer forfait pour la course.
C’est vraiment dommage car tout le staff du W Racing Team avait travaillé d’arrache-pied pour nous offrir la meilleure voiture possible. Stéphane Richelmi, Nathanaël Berthon et moi-même restons confiants et positifs ; nous reviendrons encore plus forts lors de la prochaine manche à Silverstone (13-14 mai).
